Booking & groups
1) How far in advance should I book?
I’d recommend booking as early as possible, especially for weekends, school term-time slots, and December — but always worth asking, as I sometimes have late availability too.
2) Do you offer discounts for large school, charity, or group bookings?
My school and youth group pricing (£13pp, minimum 30 people) is already a reduced rate designed for larger bookings — get in touch and I’ll confirm the best price for your group size.
3) Can you host events away from the factory?
Yes — I can travel to schools, offices, and halls for bookings larger than I can host at the factory itself.
4) Can you come to my house to hold a party?
No, unfortunately not. I can travel to offices and halls though so if you have a booking larger than I can host at the factory pop me a message and I will see what I can do.
5) Is there parking?
Yes, there is plenty of free parking and various disability parking spots.
Allergies & dietary needs
6) Do you offer vegan options?
The dark chocolate has no dairy in it (although it may contain traces) so it is suitable for vegans. There are loads of vegan options for topping your chocolate bars and lollipops too. The cream in the truffle add on is not suitable for vegans but a vegan alternative can be provided if you let me know when you book.
7) Do you cater for nut allergies?
My chocolate making workshops are nut free unless specified — please get in touch before booking if anyone in your group has a nut allergy, so we can talk through it properly.
8) Can you accommodate other dietary or religious requirements (halal, dairy-free, etc.)?
Yes — just let me know when booking and I’ll do everything I can to accommodate.
9) Can I bring party food for my children’s party?
No, unfortunately not. The children can graze on their goodies on the table throughout the party but I am unable to cater for any other party food. If you would like to bring a cake along to sing happy birthday cut up this can be fit into the party, please let us know if your bringing one when you book.
10) Is the chocolate gluten free?
Yes the chocolate is gluten free. Some of the optional toppings (pretzels, cookies) may contain gluten.
Schools & SEN
11) Do you have experience working with SEN or SEMH pupils?
Yes — I’ve hosted many SEN and SEMH school sessions and love running them. I’m happy to adapt pacing, group size, and structure to suit your pupils.
12) What do you need from us for a school visit (kitchen access, electricity, etc.)?
I will need access to a fridge to help the chocolate set, some space, and access to a plug socket — I bring everything else with me.
13) Do you have a DBS check and insurance?
Yes, I hold an up-to-date DBS check, full public liability insurance, and complete risk assessment for every session I run, whether at the factory or on-site at a school or venue.
14) Is the factory wheelchair/accessibility friendly?
Yes, there is a side door with a ramp directly into the chocolate factory and various disabled car parking spots, unfortunately the toilets are not wheelchair accessible.
General Questions
15) Can I just turn up?
No, unfortunately not. All of our workshops must be booked in advance and all chocolate orders must be placed on our website. I politely ask that you do not turn up without a booking as I may be hosting a party and they will need my full attention.
16) Do you sell gift vouchers?
Yes you can purchase them in my online shop.
17) What are your opening hours?
I am open by appointment only. I can host parties all day everyday.
